Dear Mayor, Council, NJ Legislators and Coach USA,
Having bus service along Palisade Ave to New York City is critical to me. Jitney service is infrequent, limited mostly to rush hour and daylight hours, and of questionable safety.
Bus service is vital to our area. Public transportation should be increased, not decreased, in a time of global warming and when Jersey City is reaching critical mass with the number of cars here. Having viable bus service increases property values and enables us to work and enjoy the area.
Taking this service away without notice or input from the community is unconscionable. Please do all you can do to insist that this service is restored and improved.
