YES! I support the San Francisco Buddhist Center and its residential community, all neighbors of Medjool, and everyone else who wants to keep this neighborhood liveable, diverse, and vibrant.
YES! I think that the City should require Medjool to address community impacts for their rooftop restaurant and bar through a Conditional Use authorization, as befits an unusual open air use near noise sensitive residences and community nonprofits. This ensures that permit conditions will also apply if the restaurant/bar changes owners.
YES! I want to help make sure that now and in the future the City and businesses will follow the proper transparent processes protecting the health of ALL the neighbors in our mixed residential-commercial area.
The SFBC and its neighbors support Medjool as a community business and look forward to working collaboratively on noise solutions to coexist.
