Having retired from active service as News & Features Editor of a international News Agency, I have been very active Social Worker, in Chennai, i India, establishing more than three Orphanages, Old-Age Homes for both Men & Women, Eight Free Schools for Poor Children and was awarded by Govt of Tamilnadu for admitting over 17,000 children to Chennai Corporation Primary Schools, from the Slums on the coastline of South Chennai sub-urbs.
