Across American society, there is a broad belief that all people deserve peace, prosperity, and democracy. Unfortunately, U.S. foreign policy has not always lived up to these ideals. From past U.S. support for Pakistani dictators to the violence of the Iraq War, our actions have not always made life better for others.

Freedom Forward seeks to increase the likelihood that future U.S. foreign policy will be different. We work with communities, policymakers, and elected officials to hold America’s global actions to a tough standard — the standard of our nation’s values.
