The Zoning Code Commission is now formulating recommendations for modernizing the zoning process - see the ZCC website http://www.zoningmatters.org for background information. City Council will consider these recommendations in the next six months.

In response to the commission’s draft recommendations, a network of more than 10 neighborhood associations have formed Neighoborhoods Matter to ensure that the important role of civic organizations is preserved and enhanced in the Commissions final recommendations.

We monitor legislation in City Council and organize support for measures that make sense.
