As a member of the America’s Second Harvest Network , we strive to serve, at the lowest cost possible, hungry people – children, adults, the elderly and the less fortunate by any definition – by collaborating with an ever-widening network of nonprofit and faith-based food distribution agencies throughout our 26-county service area. We seek to improve the overall quality of life of those whose needs we endeavor to meet. Our ultimate goal is to eliminate hunger in Southwestern Virginia.

Make it easy for people to participate in your campiagns by keeping the text of your emails short and to the point. 100 words is plenty.
When emailing people to participate in your CitizenSpeak campaign, don’t bury the “take action” part of your email at the end. Within the first couple of lines, ask them to go to your campaign’s web page address. You can spend the rest of the email explaining to people your cause.
